How do the levels relate to A1 and A2?
A1 and A2 are the first two levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Levels 1 and 2 mainly build vocabulary and fall within A1. From level 3 you work with sentences and short conversations, towards A2. After level 5 you are working towards A2: you talk about your family, your day, food, work and health, and understand common Moroccan sayings.
This is an indication: Dariyati is not an official CEFR exam.
Do you have to start at level 1?
No. Adults choose their own starting level, see learning Darija as an adult. For children the app follows their age, with the Speelplein for the youngest, see Darija for kids.
