How do you say food and drink in Darija?
Bread is Khobz, water is Lma and the famous Moroccan mint tea is Atay. The traditional stew is simply called Tajine, and milk is 7lib. Coffee (Qahwa) and cake (Tarta) are on the list too. Numbers you sometimes see in Darija words, like the 7 in 7lib, aren't typos: they're signs for Arabic sounds the Latin alphabet doesn't have.
