A lion is Sbe3, a cat is Qett and a dog is Kelb. For farm animals you often hear 3awd for horse and Khrouf for sheep. Numbers like the 3 in Sbe3 aren't typos: they're signs for Arabic sounds the Latin alphabet doesn't have.
